THE WING BUG HAS A BUILT IN ADAHRS SIMILAR TO THE GARMIN ADAHRS IN THIS PICTURE
THE G5 AND G3X TOUCH HAVE MAGNETOMETERS. The GMU 11 Magnetometer keeps the directional gyro within the G3X Touch in sync. You never need to reset your DG to the mag compass. The GMU 11 does this automatically.

THE WING BUG PROVIDES THE DATA FOR THE PILOTS PERSONAL IPAD MINI THAT WILL FIT IN THE PANEL PRE MOUNT.

The Signature Avionics package is a $13,206 upgrade and includes a second 10" EFIS, Electronic Flight Information System. A second GMU11 magnetometer.
The GSU 25 ADAHRS tells the G3X Touch when the plane is level and is included in the base price. The Signature Package includes a second ADAHRS.
The IBBS-12V-3AH battery provides independent battery power for the G3X touch in the event of a power failure. The Signature Package includes a second back up battery.
The GA57X antenna picks up the signal for the GPS and the ADS-B solution. A second GA57X antenna is included in the Signature Package. It sends the signal to the second G3X Touch.
The Signature Package includes a second G3X installation kit.
The Garmin GEA 24 is the engine interface unit that provides engine information to the G3X. The Signature Package includes a second GEA 24 engine probe kit for the second G3X Touch.
Garmin GTN 650, GAD29, ILS ant, GMA345 Audio Panel, Second Com Radio, Certified Nav/ILS/GPS,
back up G5 EFIS and back up batteries.
Large 10" display is easy to see and easy to use. The GTN 650 sends the data for ILS and GPS approaches to the G3X Touch.
The GAD 29 ARINC 429 interface is required to have the GTN650 interface with the ILS receiver so the glide slope can display properly on the G3X Touch.
The GTN 650 provides a second com radio, VOR navigation, ILS vertical guidance, GPS vertical guidance, and com frequency selection. You need to select VOR or GPS with the GTN 650 menu. The GTN 650 is certified and will enable IFR operations in IMC if you make your Bristell and ELSA, have a medical and an instrument rating.
The basic autopilot is $5900 and includes heading hold, GPS steering, and altitude hold. It also includes rate of climb and ESP, Electronic Stability Control.
The advanced autopilot includes the GMC 507 module as displayed in the picture.
The blue level button LVL will hold heading and altitude by the push of a button.
The HDG knob controls the heading of the aircraft. A blue bug will appear on the DG.
You gently touch the AP button to turn the autopilot on and off.
You twist the ALT SEL knob to select the chosen altitude. A blue bug will appear above the altimeter.
The IAS button controls the rate of climb based on indicated airspeed.
VERTICAL NAVIGATION IS FOR CLIMB AND DESCENT AND CONTROLLED BY IAS OR VS.
The VS button will control climb and descent by rate of climb. The vs will be displayed on the G3X Touch by a blue bug to the right of the altitude. The IAS button will control climb based on a selected indicated airspeed.
The HDG knob controls the heading of the aircraft.
When you push the NAV BUTTON the autopilot will follow the magenta line on the G3X Touch which in navigating to your destination. The blue heading bug will disappear and a small airplane will be on the line.
The YD knob stands for Yaw Dampener, which is not offered for the Bristell.
