The GSU 25 ADAHRS tells the G3X Touch when the plane is level and is included in the base price. It sends signals to the G3X Touch, the Transponder, and the GPS.

GMU 11 Magnetometer

The GMU 11 Magnetometer keeps the directional gyro within the G3X Touch in sync. You never need to reset your DG to the mag compass. The GMU 11 does this automatically. It is included in the base price.

GTP 59 Temperature Probe

This GTP 59 Temperature probe is mounted externally on the Bristell to tell the G3X Touch the outside air temperature. It is included in the Bristell standard base price.

Garmin GAP26 heated AOA Probe

 The Garmin GAP 26 is a heated AOA Probe that gives the angle of attack indicator  information as well as providing airspeed info for the G3X. It is included in the Bristell base price. The average Bristell buyer does not need this heated Pitot probe, but our delivery pilots flying in more challenging weather really appreciate that we have a heated pitot tubes and AOA's on all Bristell's


Garmin GTR 20R

The Garmin GTR 20R is a remote Com radio that is located behind the panel and controlled from the G3X Touch screen. It is light weight, dependable and does not require space in the panel. Older airplanes have radios that look terrible after many years. The remote mounted Com will display like new as long as the G3X is working. It is included in the base price of the Bristell.

GTX 45R ADS-B TXP

 The Garmin GTX 45R is a remote transponder radio that is located behind the panel and controlled from the G3X Touch screen. It is ADS-B compatible and one component of the ADS-B solution.  It is included in the base price of the Bristell.

Garmin GPS 20A

The GPS 20A tells the G3X Touch and the GTX 45R the info required to complete the ADS-B information.  . It sends signals to the G3X Touch, the Transponder, and the GPS. It is included in the base price of the Bristell.

GA57X Antenna

The GA57X antenna picks up the signal for the GPS and the ADS-B solution. It is included in the base price.

GDL 51R Xm receiver

This GDL 51R  is mounted internally on the Bristell to provide traffic and weather information as received from the satellites. The signal is provided by  Xm Sirius radio on a subscription basis. The monthly fee for basic traffic and weather is about $40 per month. The first six months of the subscription  is included in the Bristell standard base price.

 The Garmin GEA 24 is the engine interface unit that provides engine information to  the G3X. It is included in the Bristell base price.  

IBBS-12V-3AH

The IBBS-12V-3AH battery provides independent battery power for the G3X touch in the event of a power failure. The G3X Touch will work for 20 minutes with this back up battery  that is located behind the panel.   It is light weight, dependable and does not require space in the panel.  It is included in the base price of the Bristell.

It should be replaced every two years.

The Signature Avionics package is a $13,206 upgrade and  includes a second  10" EFIS, Electronic Flight Information System. A second GMU11 magnetometer.

Gad 29 ARINC 429 Interface

 The GAD 29 ARINC 429 interface is required to have the GTN650 interface with the ILS receiver so the glide slope can display properly on the G3X Touch.

BASIC AUTOPILOT $5900 OPERATED FROM THE G3X

The basic autopilot is $5900 and includes heading hold, GPS steering, and altitude hold. It also includes rate of climb and ESP, Electronic Stability Control.

THE ADVANCED AUTOPILOT

The advanced autopilot includes the GMC 507 module as displayed in the picture.

LEVEL BUTTON LVL

The blue level button  LVL will hold heading and altitude by the push of a button.

HDG HEADING CONTROL KNOB

The HDG knob controls the heading of the aircraft. A blue bug will appear on the DG.

The AP BUTTON TURNS THE AUTOPILOT ON AND OFF

You gently touch the AP button to turn the autopilot on and off.

ALT SEL IS THE ALTITUDE SELECT KNOB

You twist the ALT SEL knob to select the chosen altitude. A blue bug will appear above the altimeter.

Advanced Autopilot with GMC 507 module $7995

The IAS button controls the rate of climb based on indicated airspeed.

VNAV IS VERTICAL NAVIGATION

VERTICAL NAVIGATION IS FOR CLIMB AND DESCENT AND CONTROLLED BY IAS OR VS.

VS or IAS BUTTONS

The VS button will control climb and descent by rate of climb. The vs will be displayed on the G3X Touch by a blue bug to the right of the altitude. The IAS button will control climb based on a selected indicated airspeed.

HDG HEADING CONTROL KNOB

The HDG knob controls the heading of the aircraft.

NAV BUTTON

When you push the NAV BUTTON the autopilot will follow the magenta line on the G3X Touch which in navigating to your destination.  The blue heading bug will disappear and a small airplane will be on the line.

YD KNOB

The YD knob stands for Yaw Dampener, which is not offered for the Bristell.
